Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 24 April 2026

These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using our website and working with Nestweb.

By using this website or agreeing to work with Nestweb, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Our website is: nestweb.co.uk

Nestweb is operated by Gianluigi Mvutu, trading as Nestweb.

If you have any questions about these Terms and Conditions, you can contact us at:

Email: info@nestweb.co.uk

1. About Nestweb

Nestweb provides website design and digital marketing services for small businesses and local service providers.

Our services may include:

  • Website design
  • Website redesigns
  • Landing pages
  • Basic SEO setup
  • Website improvements
  • Google Ads setup
  • Google Ads management
  • Conversion-focused website improvements
  • Related digital services agreed in writing

The exact services included in each project will be confirmed in the quote, proposal, invoice, or written agreement provided to the client.

2. Using this website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website in a way that may damage, disable or impair it
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
  • Copy, reproduce or misuse website content without permission
  • Use the website for fraudulent, harmful or unlawful activity

We may update, suspend or remove parts of the website at any time without notice.

3. Quotes and proposals

Any quote or proposal provided by Nestweb is based on the information available at the time.

Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for 14 days from the date they are issued.

A project is not confirmed until:

  • The client has accepted the quote or proposal in writing; and
  • The required upfront payment has been received.

If the client requests additional work that is not included in the original quote, this may be charged separately.

4. Prices and payment terms

Prices are confirmed in the individual quote or proposal provided to the client.

Unless agreed otherwise, payment is required as follows:

  • 50% upfront payment before the project begins
  • 50% final payment on completion, before the website is handed over, transferred, launched, or final files are released

All payments must be made in pounds sterling.

Nestweb reserves the right to pause work if payments are delayed or unpaid.

5. Deposits and cancellations

The upfront payment is required to reserve project time and begin work.

Once work has started, the upfront payment is non-refundable, except where required by law.

If the client cancels the project after work has started, Nestweb may retain the upfront payment to cover time, planning, design work, development work, administration, and loss of availability.

For consumer clients, cancellation rights may apply in some circumstances under UK consumer law. For services arranged online, by phone or by mail-order, consumers may have a 14-day cooling-off period. However, if the client asks Nestweb to start work during that period, the client may be required to pay for work completed up to the point of cancellation. Citizens Advice explains that if a service starts straight away during the cooling-off period, the customer may still cancel but may need to pay for the value of the service already provided.

This does not affect any statutory rights that may apply.

6. Project timelines

Typical website projects take approximately 2 to 4 weeks to complete.

This timescale depends on:

  • The size and complexity of the project
  • How quickly the client provides content, images, feedback and approvals
  • Any additional features requested
  • Third-party services, hosting, domains, plugins or integrations
  • Delays outside Nestweb’s control

Any timeline provided is an estimate unless confirmed otherwise in writing.

Nestweb is not responsible for delays caused by late client feedback, missing content, unavailable access details, third-party issues, or changes to the project scope.

7. Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing all necessary materials, information and access required to complete the project.

This may include:

  • Business information
  • Text content
  • Images
  • Logo files
  • Branding guidelines
  • Website access
  • Domain or hosting access
  • Google account access
  • CRM or advertising account access
  • Legal policies, where required
  • Feedback and approvals

The client confirms that any content, images, logos, trademarks or materials supplied to Nestweb are either owned by the client or the client has permission to use them.

Nestweb is not responsible for legal issues caused by content or materials supplied by the client without proper rights or permissions.

8. Content supplied by the client

Unless agreed otherwise, the client is responsible for supplying the main website content.

Nestweb may help improve, structure, edit or rewrite content as part of the project where agreed.

The client is responsible for checking and approving all final content before publication, including:

  • Spelling
  • Grammar
  • Accuracy
  • Prices
  • Service descriptions
  • Legal statements
  • Claims about the business
  • Contact details
  • Compliance with industry rules

Nestweb is not responsible for errors in content after the client has approved it.

9. Revisions

Each website project includes 2 rounds of revisions, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

A revision means reasonable changes to the design, layout, wording or structure based on the agreed project scope.

Revisions do not include:

  • A complete redesign after approval
  • New pages not included in the quote
  • New features not included in the quote
  • Major changes to the project direction
  • Rewriting all content from scratch
  • Work caused by a change in the client’s business direction or preferences

Additional revisions or out-of-scope changes may be charged separately.

10. Project scope and additional work

The project scope will be defined in the quote, proposal, invoice, or written agreement.

Anything not listed as included may be considered additional work.

Additional work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Extra pages
  • Extra landing pages
  • Advanced SEO
  • Blog writing
  • Copywriting not included in the original quote
  • Google Ads management
  • Additional integrations
  • Booking systems
  • Payment systems
  • CRM integrations
  • Ongoing maintenance
  • Website speed optimisation beyond the agreed scope
  • Custom functionality
  • Troubleshooting third-party systems

Nestweb will inform the client where additional charges may apply.

11. Website launch and final approval

Before launch, the client will be asked to review and approve the website.

Once the client approves the website, Nestweb may proceed with launch or handover.

After final approval, any further changes may be treated as additional work unless they are minor corrections or bug fixes within the agreed scope.

Nestweb is not responsible for delays if the client does not provide approval, content, access details, or final payment.

12. Ownership of the website

Once the final payment has been received in full, the client will own the website and content created specifically for them as part of the agreed project.

This does not include:

  • Third-party software
  • Third-party plugins
  • Stock images licensed from third parties
  • Fonts licensed from third parties
  • Hosting accounts
  • Domain names
  • Advertising accounts
  • CRM systems
  • Tools, frameworks, code libraries or reusable components owned or used by Nestweb before the project

Nestweb may reuse general knowledge, methods, frameworks, layouts, code snippets and processes developed independently or used across multiple projects.

13. Portfolio and website credit

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the client allows Nestweb to:

  • Display the completed project in its portfolio
  • Mention the client’s business name as a project example
  • Use screenshots of the completed website for promotional purposes
  • Include a small footer credit such as “Website by Nestweb”

If the client wants the footer credit removed, they may request this in writing.

Nestweb will not publish confidential information about the client’s business without permission.

14. Hosting, domains and third-party services

Hosting, domain names, email accounts, plugins, software licences and third-party services may be provided by the client, arranged by Nestweb, or handled separately depending on the project.

The exact arrangement will be agreed before or during the project.

Unless agreed otherwise, the client is responsible for:

  • Domain renewal fees
  • Hosting renewal fees
  • Email hosting fees
  • Premium plugin or software licence fees
  • Third-party platform fees
  • Advertising spend
  • CRM costs
  • Ongoing maintenance costs

Nestweb is not responsible for downtime, price changes, technical issues, account suspensions or service changes caused by third-party providers.

15. SEO services

Nestweb may provide basic SEO setup as part of a website project.

Basic SEO may include items such as:

  • SEO-friendly page titles
  • Meta descriptions
  • Basic heading structure
  • Clean URLs
  • Basic technical SEO checks
  • Image alt text where appropriate
  • Sitemap submission guidance
  • Basic local SEO recommendations

SEO results are not guaranteed.

Search engine rankings depend on many factors outside Nestweb’s control, including competition, Google algorithm changes, website authority, content quality, backlinks, reviews, business location and ongoing SEO activity.

Nestweb does not guarantee first-page rankings, specific traffic levels, enquiries, sales or revenue.

16. Google Ads and advertising services

Nestweb may offer Google Ads setup, Google Ads management, landing page support, conversion tracking, remarketing setup, or related advertising services.

Advertising results are not guaranteed.

Performance may depend on factors such as:

  • Budget
  • Industry competition
  • Cost per click
  • Landing page quality
  • Offer strength
  • Location targeting
  • Conversion tracking accuracy
  • Client responsiveness
  • Market conditions

The client is responsible for paying advertising spend directly to the advertising platform unless agreed otherwise.

Nestweb is not responsible for account suspensions, rejected ads, policy changes, platform errors or performance fluctuations caused by advertising platforms such as Google or Meta.

17. Ongoing support and maintenance

Any ongoing support, maintenance, updates, SEO work, advertising management or reporting will be agreed separately.

Unless included in the quote, ongoing support is not included after the project has been completed and handed over.

Nestweb may offer ongoing services on a monthly or ad hoc basis.

18. Client changes after handover

After handover, the client is responsible for any changes they or third parties make to the website.

Nestweb is not responsible for issues caused by:

  • Client edits
  • Third-party developers
  • Plugin updates
  • Hosting changes
  • Domain changes
  • Deleted files
  • Incorrect settings
  • Malware or security breaches
  • Unauthorised access
  • Changes made outside Nestweb’s control

Nestweb may charge separately to investigate or fix issues caused after handover.

19. Browser and device compatibility

Nestweb aims to build websites that work on modern browsers and common devices.

However, we do not guarantee that the website will display perfectly on every browser, device, operating system or screen size, especially outdated software or unsupported browsers.

Compatibility requirements should be discussed before the project begins if the client needs support for specific browsers, devices or systems.

20. Limitation of liability

Nestweb will take reasonable care when providing services.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Nestweb is not liable for:

  • Loss of profit
  • Loss of revenue
  • Loss of business
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of goodwill
  • Indirect or consequential loss
  • Website downtime caused by third parties
  • Issues caused by hosting providers, domain providers, plugins, software or advertising platforms
  • Search engine ranking changes
  • Advertising performance changes
  • Client-supplied content errors
  • Delays caused by the client or third parties

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

21. Confidentiality

Both Nestweb and the client agree to keep confidential information private.

Confidential information may include business plans, login details, customer information, pricing, strategy, unpublished content, technical information or private communications.

This does not apply to information that is already public, independently developed, legally required to be disclosed, or shared with permission.

22. Login details and access

If the client provides login details or account access, Nestweb will use them only for the purpose of providing the agreed services.

The client is responsible for changing passwords or removing access after the project if they wish to do so.

Nestweb recommends that clients use secure passwords and provide access through official user permissions where possible, instead of sharing main account passwords.

23. Legal pages and compliance

Nestweb may provide general website policy text, such as privacy policy, cookie policy or terms pages, as a practical starting point.

However, Nestweb does not provide legal advice.

The client is responsible for ensuring that their website, policies, business practices, claims, cookie banner, privacy notices and legal pages are suitable for their business and comply with applicable laws.

The client should seek professional legal advice where necessary.

24. Third-party links and tools

The website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party tools.

Nestweb is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security, availability or accuracy of third-party websites, platforms or services.

Use of third-party services may be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

25. Force majeure

Nestweb is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control.

This may include:

  • Internet outages
  • Hosting failures
  • Power cuts
  • Illness
  • Natural disasters
  • Cyber attacks
  • Third-party platform failures
  • Supplier delays
  • Government restrictions
  • Other events beyond reasonable control

26. Termination

Nestweb may terminate or pause a project if:

  • The client fails to pay on time
  • The client does not provide required content, access or feedback
  • The client requests unlawful, harmful or unethical work
  • The client behaves abusively or unreasonably
  • The project becomes impossible to complete due to missing information or third-party issues

If a project is terminated after work has started, payments already made may be retained to cover work completed, time reserved and costs incurred, subject to applicable law.

27. Changes to these Terms and Conditions

Nestweb may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

For existing client projects, the terms agreed at the start of the project will usually apply unless both parties agree to updated terms in writing.

28. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
